Good Franconian cuisine. Very nice beer garden, friendly service. However, always fully booked, therefore a bit hectic atmosphere at times.

The service really has to be cleaned up here. We recently reserved a table for 6 people. When we arrived, a lady came up to us at the entrance. When we told her we made a reservation, she looked at her list and said she would be right back. After waiting 20 minutes, a second lady came up to us. We also informed her of our reservation and that we had been here for 20 minutes. She checked her plan and saw that the reservation was not recorded. At this point, thank you to the first lady, who has certainly already noticed, but let us stand. The second lady said she would see if there would be a place for us inside. A third lady then joined them in a way that really makes you think. Fortunately, we still knew the name of the employee with whom we made the reservation. Nevertheless.... She can't help us now either, it's all full. If the reservation didn't work out, that's the way it is. It happens everywhere that something goes wrong with a reservation. The thing is always how you teach the customer that there is no way to solve the problem at the moment. There were six of us there, 3 of whom work and have worked in service. That is precisely why we know it when something goes wrong in scheduling. A statement like: "Yes, I can't do anything about that" has absolutely no place in the service. It's always about how. Killing a customer like this is the worst case. It's a shame it turned out that way. With two friendly sentences none of this would have been an issue. We weren't disappointed that the reservation didn't work out, but with the way it was delivered to us. Fortunately there are some other good beer gardens in Wendelstein and the surrounding area that we will explore in the future.

The best Franconian food far and wide!

We stayed disappointed. Only cash is accepted as payment. We drank shandy and cola wheat, we didn't like either drink ... something was wrong ... either cola or white soda or the beer. For our taste the food was only mediocre. We were here for the first time and the last. :(.

Very tasty Franconian inn with slightly higher prices compared to competing restaurants in the region. The schnitzel is the best around. On Thursdays there is the very fine Franconian bread soup. Reservations recommended.

For Saturday noon was reserved for a birthday dinner. When ordering, it was immediately announced that the sausages and Schäuferle were already sold out. A shame, we would have liked to have taken both. Then just ordered schnitzel. 10 minutes later, the waitress dances again and announces that the kitchen is unfortunately no longer making schnitzels because they will close soon. Mind you, 50 minutes before the end of the opening time! Absolutely impossible! For me it became a braised beef. Sure, you can warm up quickly. That's how it tastes. Never again!

The food was very good. The staff friendly, attentive and courteous. We will come back to Gößweinstein on our next visit.

Definitely our favorite restaurant. Always friendly staff, nice and shady beer garden, very nice owners. And we don't even have to talk about the food, Franconian cuisine at its finest. The 5 stars are well deserved.

Very nice Franconian economy with excellent food and good service. Absolute recommendation - one of the top addresses in the region. It is best to make a reservation in advance.

Lots of people inside but we were refused a table, they said it s a private function, they should have keep the door locked or put a sign. Rude behaviour too.
